My experience with “top writer” tags has been somewhat weird. I remember one day, I randomly sported the “inspiration” tag on my profile. It was out of no where! Don’t think I even used it in any of my articles. Then one day it vanished.

Guess these things come and go.

My current tag is in “satire” which is a joke in and of itself. I wrote two small posts that were somewhat funny and there it is.

I’d love to know how Medium assigns these tags…
