Look, I get what you’re saying with all this — accountants are not there for growth. They are there to sustain. I do agree, companies need a visionary to water the business and fuel it in the correct direction. But, I don’t think releasing all the accountants will provide any sort of financial advantage long term.
In my opinion (which means nothing btw), organized-thinking drives smart growth; it enables all those big-picture ideas to flourish. You need the proper resources to make it happen.
With accountants, it’s not a pretty contribution, but it’s an essential one.
